Learning Outcome 1 - Be able to analyse an Interactive based problem
What is an Interactive based problem?
An Interactive based problem is a problem that may occur when trying to add interactive media purposes to your products. This can be various different problems that someone may face when trying to add social media and interactive media for their online clientele to have a build in customers. Interactive media plays a big part in businesses and products as the majority of the clientele and public are using the social and interactive media to be intrigued into the products and businesses they may be interested in. Same as a slightly younger targeted audience, children and young teenagers will be more fascinated in a product that is much more than a product. For example, along my research I found a juice brand named 'Juice Burst'. It is healthy and low in fat and not only it is a good juice, but there is a virtual reality gaming app that allows the targeted audience to play a virtual reality fruit burst game by downloading the Blippar app and scanning the juice bottle. The problem that may arise with this interactive media product is for it to not deliver the entertainment purpose set out or for the clientele to not like it or be able to use it.
A way to fix this problem would to set our survey's for the clientele to use so that you would know would age range would use the interactive media, who has currently used it and how many and whether they find it entertaining or not. This way you would know your target audience and whether the interactive media is reaching its purpose or not, if not then you could ask questions such as what they would like to see or play and play and what they would be more interested in using.
This Interactive media product may have been made by using several video gaming and after effects software where the company was able to upload there tigger image and game to Blippar for interactive use.
I believe that this product has been affective and has met its purpose as the Juice Burst website shows the latest clientele using the interactive, augmented reality game as they are put on the high score leaderboard. Here are some pictures of the website and high score leader board:
This interactive media product has been a success as the targeted audience love the interactive media side of the products. It means that the young targeted audience can do more than drink the product, they can compete with competitions, leader boards and against each other into being the best game player. I believe the colours and bold writing and simple explanations all in the same font is very user friendly as it gives the young audience a chance to interactive and engage in this product as it is simple and easy to use. Even so much as the home page on the official website is made up of the interactive game where you shoot the fruit.
I will use this product idea for the influence of my own project due to the simplicity and professionalism of the idea. Down to the colours, the fonts and idea concept, all link and I think this leads to a very good product.
