Our Stalls
15/04/18
Beechings Way, Gillingham
As shown by the images above, the stall that both me and my mum attended in Beechings Way, Gillingham was very successful. I decided to make the stool organised and professional looking to intrigue customers. I decided to use a black cloth rather than the red one which I used last time as it contrasts the packaging and colour of the products well. Many of the customers asked about our social media sites for more information which gave me the idea of making business cards.
If we was to do another stool in a different place, I may try to have multiple different baskets to organise the products better for a better look. I am still experimenting with how the stool looks, as I want us to look like a professional and well trusted business but, I also want to show off the bright colours to attract the audience. I may decide to have multiple sections for flannels, bath bombs and chill pills and potions so it is organised better. I might also try and photograph people coming to the stall or create a time-lapse for my social medias.
As seen from the people coming to the stall, my target audience attracts mainly middle-aged adults. Young children was more intrigued by the bright colours and smells by young/ middle-aged adults were more intrigued by the products.
I like the variety of different health and bath products we have on the stall as it gives multiple option for the customers. Having bath bombs and products out of their packaging also allows for customers to smell the products from afar and be intrigued by it.
It also allows for the customers to smell and handle the products before buying as they are on display.
I have then complimented the bright colours of the packaging on the products by having neon card signs where I have wrote the products names and prices on for the customers to have a look through.
At the end of the stall, me and my mum counted how much profit we made from the stall and it came to a total of £116.80. Me and my mum was very proud of this profit as we sold a lot of products. The pitch fee was £20 which made our profit £116.80 instead of £136.80 but this was still a good profit.

Westmoore Farm, Rainham
I believe the second stall is much better than the first, due to organisation. We decided to put our whole stock out on display which made the stall look more impressive and professional rather than it looking spars. Today we made a profit of £160, that is with the deducted £20 payed for the large pitch. On this stall, we decided to put our old gazebo up that we had when we used to go camping and this shaded the products so they did not sweat and, it looked more impressive to the customers.
To conclude, our boot fair was a little more successful than the one we did previously and I think this was because of the gazebo and the organisation which looked far more impressive.

Mini Chill Pills
Bath Eggs
Shown on the left is our very own labels that we have created for the business. They only have our Facebook details on at the moment but they will soon have our Instagram and website details on too. They are labelled free range eggs because we have stuck them on the egg boxes that we put the bath eggs in. For Easter, we will also set little nests and boxes for the bath eggs and we will do special offers. I think that these labels add a really nice feature to the business as it shows professionalism.
With the next set of labels, we will be putting the Instagram and website details on.

The bath sets shown below I think are super unique as some people have a hard time deciding what they want. The bath sets gives you a little bath ornament to go into your bathroom with a soap bar, a soap flower and soufflé. This gives a little selection of goods for the customer to try out.
With it being only £5, we sell a lot of them which is also really good.

I think the most popular products are the bath sets, bath bombs and bath eggs which the little ones mainly like.
Bath Sets
Soap Flowers
Soap Sponges
Bath Bombs
Bath Bombs Inspired by Perfumes
Shimmering Granules
Paper Soaps
Souffles
For this boot fair stall, my mum made her business cards off of Vistaprint. The business cards only have the Facebook and Instagram link on so far as the website is not yet up and running fully but, when it is then the website link will go on their also.
I do not like the look of the business cards at the moment because they are tacky, not designed well, using the images off of Ancient Wisdom which is the wholesaler we use, the dark parts of the background cover some of the writing so it is hard to read and it is not pleasing to look at. I think next time when our cards run out, I will definitely be designing them. I will make my own pattern maybe of slanted triangles and pastel colours, and I will fill up the space on the business cards with them. It will look far more pleasing and subtle than the ones shown below.

As result of the boot fair overall, I believe it was even better than the previous as we made a profit of £200 with deducted £20 from the pitch.
We made sure to have lots of tables, lots of stock and to fill every space we have. It turned out looking far better than previous boot fairs. We also bought another gazebo.

Taking pictures of every boot fair we do, is essential as we are able to put these images on our social media sites to show our lovely looking boot fairs, to show how busy we are and the amount of boot fairs we do and finally, for improvement. We can look back at images from previous boot fairs and see where went wrong and how we may be able to change it. For example gazebos and more stock.
I like how colourful and pleasing the soap flowers and sponges look on the stalls. It is extremely pleasing to the eye, especially with the aluminous cards.
This stall again looks so much bigger and pleasing to the eye. It smelt extremely pleasing even as you walk by which definitely intrigued more customers.
The soufflés shown here, are also a very popular product. Not as much as the bath eggs and mini chill pills, but they are very popular due to the fizz and fragrance they give.
As a conclusion, this boot fair also went really well as we have a different layout and set up every time. I think at first you need to get used to the different pitches as to where the tables will go and what will go on them, but once you have everything laid out then it is clear to see.

In the future, I think if we have a generator and a bubble machine or tv playing a trailers and videos, this would attract a lot more customers. I think we gain more customers when people see our stall in person rather than online. When people smell all of the smells and the range we have, they randomly fancy having a luxury bath. It is very rare that someone types in google to buy a bath bomb.

Wallend Bootfair, Lower Road, Sheerness
With this stall, we had to have another very different setup compared to the previous stall because of the place and the pitch we had. Because we had so much room, we did not want too much bare spare so we decided to have a few small tables at the front low down where people from a while back can see, and all of the tall stalls in a line at the back and down the sides so that people are able to come in and have a way out to look around.
This makes the stall efficient and professional and was easy for the customers as they could not just walk by but almost come in and look around at what we have.
Our Promotional Tees
Our Promotional Bags
These tops shown here are mine and my mum's new business promotion tops. We wear these around the boot fair so that we look professional and so that the business can be more recognisable.
My auntie has her own business called Mini Moos and Tatty Tedds. She created her own baby clothes, blankets, banners, tops and clothing range. She has her own equipment and social media sites and I have photographed and filmed everything professionally for her to put on her social media. She is the one that created our branding tops and hoodies and bags. This adds a nice feature to our business.
Shown below are the promotional bags we have had made for us so far. The range will grow and become more creative but as of yet, this is what we have so far.
With these bags, we have them hanging from the gazebo on our stall and we do offers. The offers always change as they are especially for boot fairs only, but usually we do buy a bag and get a free soufflé. Or buy a medium bag and get two bath bombs or something like that. This makes the stall more creative with multiple option like a professional business. Once we grow bigger, me and my mum are thinking of doing a stall on dagenham market or in Chatham Pentagon.
I believe that the bags look professional, they promote our business and look creative. I believe these bags are a success as they have a lot of room inside the bags meaning the customer will most likely want to fill the bag up with goods.
We have all different designs and colours in the bags, with and without pom poms and we sell them alone in sizes extra small, small, medium and large and we do deals on our boot fairs where you can buy the bag and get a free soufflé or floral fizz depending on the size of the bag.
